OVERHAUL
An Overhaul will return your instrument to its original performance specifications. Our experienced technician will disassemble your bassoon and remove the pads. Any plated parts will be ultrasonically cleaned and lightly buffed. New pads, key corks, and joint corks will be installed in addition to any necessary springs. Our technician will do all basic swedging and key fitting, minor tenon refitting and minor dent work if needed. Your bassoon will be reassembled, lubricated, performance tested and final adjustments made. We’ll finish off by cleaning your bassoon and case to make it performance ready. Silver or Nickel plating is available for an additional fee, please contact us for an estimate.

Have our experienced technicians perform a full inspection. They will replace necessary springs, pads, and key corks while restoring proper alignment of keys. A final play test and clean up will ensure playability of your bassoon. The charge will be based on the work and materials needed for your repair.

JOINT CORK REPLACEMENT
Worn tenon cork? Our technician will remove your old cork; then custom cut and fit a fresh cork for your tenon.
